CDNT HSE Webinars
Working in a Children’s Disability Team HSE Webinars
Are you interested in working in children’s disability services?
The HSE is hosting a series of information webinars on what it’s like to work in a CDNT. They will run the same webinar across multiple days and times next week (9th to 12th July 2024). You choose the best time for you to attend.
The webinar will be 30-minutes long and will tell you what it is like to work on a CDNT's interdisciplinary team with a child and their family.
There will be a Q&A session afterwards so do block out additional time (up to an hour afterwards) to get maximum benefit from attending.
To register, follow the link for the date and time you wish to attend and register directly with the HSE:
Stewarts Care is the lead agency for two Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs), working on our Rossecourt and Palmerstown locations.
What are Children’s Disability Network Teams?
Children’s Disability Network Teams provide specialised support and services for children with complex needs, arising from a disability. Their aim is to support the children to thrive, grow, and learn.
The teams include Occupational therapists (OTs); Psychologists; Physiotherapists (Physios); Social workers; Speech and language therapists (SLTs); and administrative staff.
Teams may also have access to: Behaviour Support Specialists; Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS); Dietitians; Early Educators; Family Support Workers; and Therapy Assistants.
The team members share their knowledge, information and skills with families to support their children’s development. Team members can meet children and families in their home, in school or in our CDNT buildings.
